Everything you need to know about the Festes del Roser 2025

Fiesta de las Rosa

From October 2 to 7, 2025, la Rambla in Barcelona hosts one of its most symbolic celebrations: the Festes del Roser, organized by Amics de la Rambla. This tribute to the Mare de Déu del Roser turns the city’s most emblematic promenade into a meeting point of history, floral art and living heritage.

In this edition, visitors will enjoy floral decorations, exhibitions, open houses and fairs designed for both locals and travelers who want to connect with the soul of Barcelona from its very center.

Dates and highlights of 2025

The Festes del Roser 2025 program includes cultural, artistic and heritage-related activities open to the public. Some of the most notable ones are:

Exhibitions and cultural spaces

  • “Fabular Paisatges” at Palau Moja: a proposal that combines art and nature.
  •  “Catalunya. Patrimoni Viu”, also at Palau Moja: an exhibition on Catalan intangible heritage.
  • Open houses in historical buildings such as:
    • Palau de la Virreina
    • Museu de Cera
    • Gran Teatre del Liceu
    • Palau Moja
    • Other iconic spaces on la Rambla

Crafts fair

  • Nova Artesania a la Rambla: exhibition and sale of unique creations by contemporary artisans along the promenade.

Floral decorations: 23 unique spaces

One of the most anticipated moments of each edition is the floral route that transforms la Rambla into an artistic walkway. In 2025, a total of 23 floral decorations will adorn the facades of businesses, shops and historic buildings, turning the route into an open-air exhibition. In addition, on October 4, the participatory action “Una flor, un desig” will take place, organized by Amics de la Rambla, inviting both locals and visitors to take part in this tradition. The activity will take place in front of the Palau de la Virreina, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will allow participants to offer a flower to the Mare de Déu del Roser, as part of her feast celebration.  This initiative, held in collaboration with the Escola d’Art Floral i Disseny de Jardins de Catalunya, is a unique opportunity to enjoy flowers and the Rambla de les Flors, contributing to a participatory experience that merges tradition with contemporary floral art.

A celebration for all audiences

The Festes del Roser 2025 offer a varied program designed for all kinds of audiences. Thanks to its cultural and participatory approach, this celebration is an excellent opportunity to experience la Rambla from a local, authentic and enriching perspective.

During the festivities, the promenade becomes an open space where residents and visitors with different interests come together:

  • Lovers of history and architecture, looking to explore Barcelona’s heritage through guided tours and open houses.
  • Cultural travelers drawn by floral installations, exhibitions, and the involvement of local artists.
  • Families seeking a safe, free outdoor activity right in the city center.
  • Guests staying in a hotel on la Rambla, with the chance to be part of the celebration from their very accommodation.

This combination of tradition, floral art, free access to cultural spaces and community atmosphere makes the Festes del Roser a highly attractive proposal for those who want to experience Barcelona beyond the usual and connect with the city from its most symbolic axis: la Rambla.
