From 18 to 20 May 2027, Fira Barcelona Gran Via hosts Construmat, the major international construction show, in its 25th edition. Organised by Fira de Barcelona, it brings together manufacturers and professionals around industrialised construction, sustainability and efficiency. It’s a professional event, with entry by registration. If you’re coming for the fair, here’s what you need to know — and why Hotel Arc La Rambla makes a great base for your stay.

What is Construmat?
Construmat is Barcelona’s major international construction show, organised by Fira de Barcelona for over 40 years. It’s the benchmark meeting point for the whole sector value chain: manufacturers, distributors, architects, engineers, developers and builders.
The show focuses on industrialised construction, sustainability and efficiency, with a wide offering covering insulation, windows, facades, structures, roofs, machinery, tools, flooring and fittings. Besides the exhibition area, it features a congress and an international buyer programme.
Who it’s for: architects, engineers, developers, builders, distributors and sector manufacturers. It’s an eminently professional event.

Getting to Fira Barcelona Gran Via
The Gran Via venue is in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, very well connected to central Barcelona:
- Metro: line L9 Sud has several stops at the venue (Fira, Europa|Fira); the L8 connects from Plaça d’Espanya. The most direct option.
- FGC: the trains stop at Europa|Fira, next to the entrances.
- From the airport: L9 Sud connects El Prat directly with the Fira in about 15-20 minutes.
The Gran Via venue is large: check your accreditation for the halls (6 and 7) and access point to head straight to your area of interest.
