From 10 to 12 April 2027, Fira Barcelona Gran Via (Hall 8) hosts Professional Beauty Barcelona (PBSI), one of Spain’s major professional beauty fairs. It brings together professionals in aesthetics, cosmetics, nails, makeup and hairdressing around product launches, demonstrations, training and competitions. It’s a strictly professional event, with entry by registration. If you’re coming for the fair, here’s what you need to know — and why Hotel Arc La Rambla makes a great base for your stay.

What is Professional Beauty Barcelona?
Professional Beauty Barcelona —also known as PBSI (Professional Beauty Salón Internacional)— is the major date for the professional beauty and personal image sector. Organised by the Professional Beauty group, it’s the meeting point where brands, distributors and professionals discover the latest launches and trends in the sector.
More than a product showcase, the fair is a space for training, live demonstrations and professional competitions, with catwalks and shows that make the visit a very dynamic experience. It’s where the beauty professional updates their skills, does business and finds inspiration.
Who it’s for: aestheticians, hairdressers, barbers, nail technicians, makeup artists, beauty salons, distributors and sector brands. It’s a professional-only event.

Getting to Fira Barcelona Gran Via
The Gran Via venue is in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, very well connected to central Barcelona:
- Metro: line L9 Sud has several stops at the venue (Fira, Europa|Fira); the L8 connects from Plaça d’Espanya. The most direct option.
- FGC: the trains stop at Europa|Fira, next to the entrances.
- From the airport: L9 Sud connects El Prat directly with the Fira in about 15-20 minutes.
Professional Beauty is held in Hall 8 (access via Carrer del Foc). Check your accreditation to head to the right entrance.
Tips for attendees
- Register in advance: it speeds up entry and secures your place in limited-capacity training sessions.
- Check the shows programme: catwalks, competitions and demonstrations have their own schedule; plan around them.
- Comfortable shoes: the venue is large and the days are intense.
- Book accommodation early: April is a busy fair month in Barcelona.
- Stay in the centre: ending the day away from the venue, in the heart of the city, is welcome.
