From 15 to 18 March 2027, Fira Barcelona Gran Via hosts KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe, the largest cloud-native gathering in Europe. It’s the benchmark European event of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), bringing together developers, engineers and companies around Kubernetes, open source and cloud computing. It’s a professional event, with entry by registration. If you’re coming to KubeCon, here’s what you need to know — and why Hotel Arc La Rambla makes a great base for your stay.

What is KubeCon + CloudNativeCon?
KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe is the flagship European conference of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), part of the Linux Foundation. It gathers adopters, maintainers and technologists from the leading open source and cloud native communities to advance the education and development of cloud computing.
It’s the great meeting point for the whole ecosystem around Kubernetes and the CNCF projects: from graduated and incubating to the most experimental. Over four days, the community shares knowledge on container orchestration, DevOps, platform engineering, observability, cloud-native security and much more.
Who it’s for: developers, platform engineers, SREs, cloud architects and any technical professional working with cloud-native technologies. It’s an eminently technical, professional event.

Getting to Fira Barcelona Gran Via
The Gran Via venue is in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, very well connected to central Barcelona:
- Metro: line L9 Sud has several stops at the venue (Fira, Europa|Fira); the L8 connects from Plaça d’Espanya. The most direct option.
- FGC: the trains stop at Europa|Fira, next to the entrances.
- From the airport: L9 Sud connects El Prat directly with the Fira in about 15-20 minutes. The venue is relatively close to the airport.
Bear in mind that KubeCon uses the north access (North Access, Carrer del Foc). The Gran Via venue is large: confirm the correct entrance on your accreditation.
