Today we want to propose you a route to squeeze as maximum as possible Barcelona if you are here not for a long stay! We will start from the highest point and go down until to arrive to the beach!
Sant Gervasi is one of the districts in the highest point of Barcelona. You can arrive there in metro L3 (green line), station named Vallcarca. There you can find nice green, perfect views to Barcelona, a tram going to the mountain of Tibidabo and the Parc Güell!
Sant Gervasi, you can take a walk down the street ‘República Argentina’, and going straight in ‘Carrer Gran de Gracia’, you will be in the next district: Gràcia! One of the most characteristic Spanish districts where you can enjoy lots of small and cheap stores, bars and restaurants! It’s a very nice place for visit to understand better the Spanish young people way of life.
After a walk in Gràcia and once you have discovered all the charms of those narrow streets, returning to the ‘Carrer de Gran de Gracia’, and going down this street, you are in Passeig de Gracia, the fashion street of Barcelona! It’s a big and large street with all the stores that you can imagine and can be interesting if you love doing some shopping.
After visited all the shops that you like, you will arrive to Plaza Catalunya, where you can decide, either go left, to do more shopping to Portal del Angel and take a walk by the old city, or go righter and take a walk for the most neuralgic street of Barcelona, Las Ramblas.
Any option that you chose before, you will anyway arrive to the district of barceloneta, which is in front of the beach. Once there you can take a nice Mediterranean lunch and enjoy the air of the sea.
