The Orient Express Racing Team, on the other hand, has announced that they will reuse water at their base. This simple action demonstrates a real commitment to the conservation of water resources and serves as an example for other teams and sports organizations.

Port authorities and organizations like the Conselleria de Acció Climàtica and the Catalan Water Agency are working together to promote more sustainable practices in Catalan ports. This includes the implementation of water-saving mechanisms and the promotion of wastewater treatment and reuse technologies.
Additionally, the event’s organization, America’s Cup Events, has partnered with Agbar to use regenerated water in boat cleaning. This measure not only reduces the consumption of drinking water but also promotes a circular economy by giving treated water a second life.
