Good Practice Guide for Sustainable Tourism: Coastline and Beaches

In today’s post we bring you a Guide of good practices of Sustainable Tourism on the coast and beaches.

From Hotel Arc La Rambla we encourage you to follow the following practices:

Getting around

If possible, travel to the beach on foot, by bicycle or public transport.

Flora and fauna

Respect the flora and fauna, both on the beach and in the sea.

Noise

Respect the tranquillity of the beach, do not exceed the noise limits.

Waste

Do not litter on the sand or in the sea, use the litter bins. Be careful with plastics and other materials likely to fly away.

Smoking

Remember that smoking is forbidden on some beaches in Barcelona. On beaches where smoking is allowed, remember to carry an ashtray

Street vending

Street vending is prohibited and offers no health guarantees.

Showers

Make good use of showers, do not use too much water and avoid using soap.
