Music in the gardens of Barcelona

Barcelona is a highly populated city, so green areas become very important and necessary spaces. They offer fresh air, give quality to our lives and allow its residents to have places where they can meet and practice sports.

The initiative of Barcelona City Council, which began more than 20 years ago and is known as “Música als Parcs” (Music in the Parks), not only offers a musical program but also serves as support for a local community awareness to care for and enjoy these areas as part of the public space of Barcelona.

MUSIC IN THE PARKS

This year 2019, the season begins on June 1 and ends on September 1 offering a total of 49 free concerts and musical shows in about 30 green spaces in Barcelona for anyone who wants to spend a very pleasant day, with good music and in the best company.

It is the perfect plan to enjoy a summer sunset outdoors while relaxing with the sounds of nature and classical and jazz music.

We recommend you to have a look at the full programme of Music in the garden of Barcelonaso you can organise your holidays to get the most out of it.

FREE GUIDED VISITS TO THE PARKS

To promote better the social and environmental benefits of parks and gardens, this year there will also be guided tours before the concerts, one in each district, with explanations on the history, biodiversity and also the characteristics of these spaces.

It will also serve to discover unknown corners.

Guided tours are limited, so it is advisable to book by clicking on this link. It is recommended to be punctual and arrive 10 minutes before the start of the walk through the park.

We are located in Las Ramblas, the perfect place for you to enjoy a city as rich as Barcelona.
