We would like to announce that on December, 29 in the famous Liceu Theatre you could see The Nutcracker. Almost in New Year Eve, it’s a great idea to go and to see this performance and make the expectance of New Year even more desired. The Nutcracker has captivated audiences of all ages for well over 100 years, that’s why is ideal plan for all the family.
The Nutcracker story takes place in Germany around 1850 when Clara, the daughter of Judge Stahlbaum, during a Christmas celebrations receives from her eccentric godfather, Herr Drosselmeyer, a very special gift: a wooden soldier, a nutcracker. When the party was almost over, Clara had a fabulous dream with the soldier, who finally exists in reality and more over he’s so close to her. The Ballet of St. Petersburg, founded in 1966 under the artistic direction of Pyotr Gusev, soon opted for a classical repertoire, based on the art of the Russian School. Its directors include historical names Leonid Yakobson, Askold Makarov or Yury Petukhov.
Don’t miss it, go and buy a ticket and live your Christmas story.
