The Rambla in Barcelona is a magical place that begins at Catalunya square and ends at the Drassanes dock (where in the old days ships were built and repaired), with its statue of Christopher Columbus. On the way, you will be entertained by its many human statues and portrait artists, attractions that bring such liveliness to this emblematic street.
From its origins as a channel for the city’s rainwater, today La Rambla has changed into a pedestrianised boulevard that sweeps you down from the city centre right to the port. Here you’ll find everything: bars and restaurants for every taste, news stands with the daily newspapers from all over the world, flower stalls, theatres and shopping centres.
