Automobile Barcelona 2027, all you need to know

From 10 to 18 April 2027, Fira Barcelona Gran Via hosts Automobile Barcelona, the city’s major International Motor Show. It’s one of Europe’s longest-running motor shows and, unlike trade fairs, it’s open to the public: you can see the latest models, discover new releases and, as tradition has it, test-drive vehicles. If you’re going to visit, here’s what you need to know — and why Hotel Arc La Rambla makes a great base for your stay.

What is Automobile Barcelona?

Automobile Barcelona is Barcelona’s International Motor Show, one of Europe’s most established motoring events, organised by Fira de Barcelona. Each edition brings together the main car brands to present their latest models and new releases to a devoted public.

More than a car exhibition, the show is an experience for motoring enthusiasts and families: the latest in electric and sustainable mobility, vehicles of every type and segment, and one of its best-loved signatures, the chance to test-drive cars on dedicated circuits.

The 2027 novelty: the show debuts a new location at Fira Gran Via, temporarily leaving its historic Montjuïc home, which is undergoing renovation works for the centenary of the 1929 International Exhibition.
